Cookie Notice

1. What these technologies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. “Similar technologies” include browser local storage and session storage, which can store information in the same way. Under the EU ePrivacy rules and the GDPR, the same consent requirements apply to all of them, regardless of the technology used.

We group them into four categories:

• Essential — required for the site and app to function (you cannot turn these off).
• Functional — remember your preferences.
• Analytics — help us understand usage.
• Marketing — advertising and remarketing.

Essential technologies do not require consent. Analytics and Marketing are used only with your consent.

2. Your consent and how it is shared

On your first visit we show a banner where you can Accept all, Reject all, or choose categories. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and Analytics and Marketing stay off until you opt in. We record your choice in a cookie named vib3_consent.

Because vib3.tech and app.vib3.tech share the same parent domain, your choice is stored once on .vib3.tech and applies to both — you are not asked again when you move between the website and the app.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the “Cookie preferences” link in our footer, or by clearing cookies and storage in your browser. If we materially change the categories, we will ask you again.

3. Cookies and storage on app.vib3.tech (the application)

Essential

• Your sign-in session — Supabase authentication cookies (for example sb-…-auth-token and a login code verifier).
• vib3_consent — the record of your cookie choices.

Functional

• vib3_last_org — remembers the last workspace you viewed.

Error monitoring

• We use Sentry to detect and diagnose faults, on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and reliable, configured without advertising use.

The application also stores some information in your browser’s local and session storage to operate — for example your sign-in token, your light/dark theme, and short-lived state used to recover an in-progress analysis. These are essential or functional.

4. Cookies and storage on vib3.tech (the website)

Essential

• vib3_consent — the record of your cookie choices.

Analytics and Marketing

Where enabled, we may use tools such as Google Analytics and advertising tags (for example Google Ads and Meta) to measure traffic and the effectiveness of our own marketing. These load only after you consent and are managed through Google Consent Mode. As of the date above, no analytics or advertising trackers are active on the website.

5. Marketing attribution

With your Marketing consent we record how you arrived at our site — campaign tags (UTM parameters), advertising click identifiers (such as gclid and fbclid), and the referring page — and associate this with your account once you sign in. We use it internally to understand which channels work and to prioritize follow-up. We do not sell this data. Without consent, this information is not stored.

6. Third parties

Our website loads web fonts from Google Fonts; Google may receive your IP address as part of serving the fonts, but the Fonts service does not set cookies for this.

When you connect an advertising or analytics account (for example Google, Meta, or TikTok), those providers may set their own cookies on their own domains during their sign-in flow; that is governed by their privacy policies, not this Notice.

7. Changes to this notice

We may update this Cookie Notice from time to time. Where a change affects the categories or technologies used, we will refresh the consent banner so you can review your choices.
